How long have you been breeding dogs?

2021 is was our first year of breeding our Bernese Mountain Dog with a Standard Poodle.  But the journey began long before.  When we sought out our first Bernese Mountain Dog Ceilidh in 2017.  We continue our efforts to provide our community with an ethically born and raised, high quality, F1 and F2 Bernedoodles.

Will the Puppies be Registered?

Bernedoodles are a mixed breed dog between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Poodle.  Being a mixed breed dog means they cannot be registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC).  Only Pure Bred dogs can be registered with the CKC.

Can I see the sire's and dam’s health clearances?

Absolutely!  We will provide you with all the information we have available to us to show you we have done our due diligence in breeding ethically.  We have performed genetic testing for our Bernese Mountain Dog and have ensured our Stud Dog(s) have a genetic clearance that helps us ensure we are breeding ethically and to improve the quality of this breed for the future.

Can I see where the puppies are being housed?

Of course!  We want you to feel comfortable with knowing your pup and its momma and other dog family are being treated really well and are loved inside and outside of our home. If you are interested in one of our puppies, please contact us to make an appointment.

Do you offer breeding rights?

Typically we do not, however we may make the odd exception for like-minded breeders who ethically breed and raise dogs and do health testing and a website/social media page is mandatory to be considered. If you are interested click below to contact us.

Is the dam current on her vaccines?

Yes!  She is up to date.  Not only that, we will be making sure your pup has their first vet exam, has received their DAPP Series (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, and Parvo), and also a de-worming treatment prior to you picking up your puppy.

At what age will the puppies be ready to go home?

Puppies will be ready to go to their new homes between eight and ten weeks of age. This is the optimum time for a puppy to transition from their litter to their new family. If they leave too early, they may have issues with other dogs in the future. If they stay any longer with their littermates, they may not bond as well with people.

What kind of guarantee do you offer?

We want you to be comfortable and confident with your puppy purchase and therefore we have a health guarantee that helps you feel comfortable you are purchasing from a breeder who cares.  Contact Us for more Information.  Know that we want the to send our puppies to their forever homes, and we will make every effort to ensure they are cared for no matter what.

How old are the puppies when we get to pick ours?

Once the adoption agreement is in place, you can make an appointment to come and select your puppy when they are between 3-12 weeks old. Puppies less than 3 weeks old need gentle and dedicated care from their mother. They are still developing their senses and sleep most of the time.
